If I download a theme and it doesn't work for me how hard is it to get delete the theme.

I assume you are saying you dont really like the theme for your site. Or does it really not work. If you just want to change themes, all you need to do is go to your admin themes area and choose another theme as a default, then if you want you can delete the folder of the old theme or leave it available.
